Because of God’s great grace we are unified as a church in Treasuring Christ, Growing Together, Serving Each Other, and Living on Mission.
We seek to make disciples (Matt. 28:19) and we at Zion define a disciple as someone who is:
Treasuring Christ because He is our great treasure (Matthew 13:44-46; 2 Corinthians 3:18)
Growing in a Spiritually safe and sanctifying community (Philippians 1:1-3; Hebrews 3:13)
Serving others because Jesus first served us (John 13:14-15; Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:4-5)
Living on mission because life for the Christian is a mission trip (Matthew 13:31-32; 28:19-20)
OUR VISION PROCESS:
While we want to be a church that Treasures Christ, Grows Together, Serves Each Other, and Lives on mission, we realize that spiritual transformation is a process that God initiates, continues and completes. (2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Corinthians 3:9; Romans 8:29) Therefore, we join God where He is working and moving in people through our discipleship process.
